We carved our family jack-o-lantern with help from Daddy. He turned out pretty cute and was a friendly welcome to our party guests on Friday night.
We did some games with the kids-a pumpkin pass, pin the eye on the ghost, a cake walk and a pumpkin toss. We rounded things out with a surprise pinata. A year later, we've finally figured out the intended purpose of our bizarre interior window upstairs. Apparently, it's perfect for dangling a pinata over the living room :)
We invited family and friends to celebrate Halloween (and our first year in our new home) with a fun party for all our kiddos. We had bone shaped bread sticks, mummy english muffin pizzas, a candy corn shaped veggie tray and some fun desserts. We also dipped apples using peanut butter and caramel and sprinkles and chocolate chips.

All the snacks and games were a hit with all the kids and it was the perfect chance for all of us to sport our costumes for some WARM, indoor Halloween fun.
On Saturday Sycely and I took in her school carnival. She had a great time playing the various games, winning prizes and candy and seeing her school friends in their costumes.
We helped hand out candy at Nanny and Papa's on Sunday and did some regulated trick-or-treating, stopping by a few family friends' places on our way home. It was a busy, fun-filled, weekend of celebration!
